In response to community complaints, authorities led by the Suffolk County Police Department conducted an investigation at Rocky Point Foot SPA, located at 379 Route 25A Unit G late last month. 

In the latest detail, Xiaoyan Song, age 48, and Yueh-Ping Chu, age 58, both of Flushing, Queens, were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession. 

Both women were issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date. 

The Town of Brookhaven issued several violations. 

Two women were arrested at the same location in an operation conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

The operation was conducted by:

  • Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers, 
  • SCPD Seventh Squad detectives, 
  • Town of Brookhaven Attorney’s Office.
